...Today Odysseus Data Services is an active member of the Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (or OHDSI, pronounced "Odyssey") consortium (https://www.ohdsi.org/), whose main mission is to improve healthcare systems around the world by collecting and organizing data on the treatment of various diseases and then combining this data into a single, standardized, universally-accessible knowledge base to bring out the value of health data through large-scale analytics.
...Due to our rapid growth, we now have a vacancy for a BI Engineer in Europe (Czech Republic, Germany, and Lithuania).
Responsibilities
● You will handle all tasks related to BI and data engineering independently, including all stages of the process of setting up a BI infrastructure
● Document dashboard requirements and design, create logical models and database structure based on requirements
● Create reports and dashboards using modern BI solutions such as Spotfire, Qlik, or Tableau
● Write SQL queries and automated scripts to perform complex data analysis
● Build ETL pipelines that integrate data from several sources
Required Skills
● 3+ years of experience in BI and data modeling
● Experience with commonly used BI tools such as Spotfire, Qlik, or Tableau
● Excellent knowledge of SQL, relational databases such as MySQL or Postgres, as well as data warehouse technologies such as GCP BigQuery or AWS Redshift
● Knowledge and Coding experience with Python or R
● Understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse Architecture and Snowflake model
● Fluency in English (written and spoken) and great communication skills
