VoIP Engineer (offline)

We are looking for VoIP Engineer to join our team.

The solutions we develop on behalf of our clients are used by leading global corporations to identify, assess and reduce fraudulent transactions for a variety of financial and safety applications. Our engineering and technical activities involve deep research pertaining to the application of voice solutions, as well as developing and recommending technical strategies on how to optimally apply various voice analytics solutions. We also have expertise in developing voice-related Artificial Intelligence solutions, telephony solutions, and the use of Cloud services to meet our clients’ worldwide requirements. Additionally, we offer technical evaluation and support services related to voice analytics.

Required skills
- Intermediate or higher English level;
- Good skills in Windows administration (restarting services, reading logs, checking for open ports, etc.)
- Good skills in Linux administration (RHEL\CentOS. Partitioning, reading log files, restarting services, managing file permissions etc.)
- Shell scripting;
- Good knowledge of Asterisk (Installation, configuration, dial plan scripting, SIP trunk registration, organize outgoing calls, be able to connect to TTS and STT online services)
- Good network administration knowledge: firewalls, TCP/IP, ssh, VoIP, etc.
- Good knowledge of Zabbix system, WireShark system log analysis
- Practical SQL installation, administration, DB structure reorganization, queries, redundancy;
- Have a good knowledge of JIRA;
- Ability to speak Ukrainian or Russian.

Responsibilities
- Directly assist the Team Manager in managing technical aspects of “back-end” operations, to include identifying and prioritizing any technical or operational issues to ensure that the system is available worldwide 24/7;
- Ensure the worldwide network is operating as required for mission accomplishment. Quickly identify and resolve any technical issues that impact on mission accomplishment;
- Advise and assist the Chief Engineer and System Administrator about network and telecommunications related matters that impact on the effectiveness of the system;
- Assist with supporting/optimizing Asterisk scripts, SIP phones, server registrations;
- Log analysis of the audio stream quality;
- Manage new/existing phone numbers registered in the US and assign them to required servers;
- Working with the bug tracking system (Jira);
