Senior DevOps (offline)

For our Client, the Australian company, that develops, implements and supports cyber security and information management end-point solutions for organizations to help them to protect sensitive data inside and outside the business environment while transmitting private or business sensitive information to third parties, we are looking for the Senior DevOps.



Responsibilities

Design, creation, configuration and delivery of cloud infrastructure environments using automation best practices and a proactive strategy
Automating the infrastructure build in private cloud and public cloud environments
Providing technology assessments in support of automation and migration to cloud
Automation of operational processes
Developing and driving improvements, maintaining/monitoring production and non-production systems, ensuring platforms perform at maximum efficiency and security.
Understand cloud, on-premise, and HPC architectures and be able to support products
Providing technical support when requested
Implementing automation tools and frameworks for automatic code deployment (CI/CD)
Quality control and management of the code base


Requirements

5-7+ years of Senior DevOps production operation in a diversified Linux and/or Windows environments
3+ years of experience with major virtualization environments.
Knowledge and exposure of Container technology and orchestration is a plus
Experience with Configuration Management / Orchestration tools such as Ansible, Salt, or Chef
Experience implementing and/or using Git/Stash, Jenkins, ARM, JIRA, and code quality & security scanning tools
Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and tools especially in deployment, monitoring and operations, such as Kubernetes, Slack, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Kibana, etc.
Experience with transactional databases (MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL) configured for high availability and redundancy
Strong crisis management and leadership ability
Strong and effective written/verbal communication skills, whether talking to individual contributors or to executive management
Relevant degree or diploma in Information systems or information technology
Familiarity with software release management and deployment (Git, CI/CD)
Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices
Knowledge of systems and platforms security
Familiarity with SQL and database operations
Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines
Ability to manage public / private cloud infrastructure
Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly
Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
Upper-Intermediate+ level in English
Flexibility, desire and ability to adapt to changing conditions
