About the company: Cyberhaven is a fast-growing startup, trusted by some of the most well-known investors of Silicon Valley. The company was set up in 2016 and raised over $15M from investors. Our product is used by cool companies like Zoom, Motorola, Western Digital, the U.S. Department of Defense’s DARPA agency (the one that created the Internet!), and others.

The product: We built a dynamic data-tracking platform that enables all data flows to be tracked across entire companies. Data flow history can be used to detect the exfiltration of critical and sensitive data in real-time.

The technical stack: Typescript, React, Redis, Node, Golang, AWS, Kubernetes, Windows/macOS. No legacy code, the product was designed from scratch a few years ago using the most up-to-date technologies. The product uses a modern architecture, a microservices-based backend with strict performance and scalability requirements, deep integration with Windows and macOS, and a diverse set of cloud APIs for integration with SaaS applications.

Working Conditions: remote or office in Kyiv. Flexible working hours. No time trackers. All necessary hardware is provided.

Team: 3 frontend engineers, 5 backends, 1 DevOps, 3 QA, 4 Mac OS, 5 Windows. All seniors (21).

Your key tasks on the project:
Implement a state-of-the-art web-based management console that’s at the core of our product
Work on complex and dynamic visualizations
Improve the user experience together with our UI/UX design team
Work closely with the Cyberhaven core development team

Core requirements:
4+ years experience in frontend engineering: coding, testing, debugging, and automating complex TypeScript applications using React
Plus: experience as a full-stack, with Node.js
Strong knowledge of the latest frontend libraries
Love to work with complex visualizations
Good grip of basic data structures and algorithms
Learn new technologies quickly and are eager to do so
Ability to clearly describe API requirements

Stages of selection:
Screening interview with the recruiter (20 minutes)
Interview with co-founder - acquaintance, online coding or offline test task of your choice (40 min)
Technical interview with co-founder and team (1,5 hours)
