QA engineer/ analyst (Estonia) (offline) $1500-2700

About the project:
Wert is a small dedicated team working on an easy-to-use payment instrument for the cryptocurrency industry. By implementing our solution, our partners — crypto wallets, NFT marketplaces and other projects — are expanding their token and crypto purchase functionality.

✅ What will you do:
• Manual UI and API testing for web and mobile platforms
• Detect, analyse and isolate defects and report them to an issue and project tracking software
• Oversee implementation processes as well as live integrations and advice on improvements
• Be a reliable, friendly source of feedback on new functionality and features
• Have good knowledge of all testing stages (i.e. regression, smoke, sanity etc)
• Create, execute, analyse test cases and localise defects
• Check if the feature and test environment are ready for testing
• Verify bug fixes
• Manage time efficiently and consider the speed of development so as to know when to write a test case
• Provide regular updates on testing to the colleagues in development

✅ Requirements:
• Adequate SQL skills to write basic queries
• Excellent grasp of QA processes
• Practical experience testing REST APIs with Postman and cURL
• Knowledge of English at the level of reading documents

✅ Nice to have:
• You have previously worked with Ethereum blockchain, Docker, CI/CD, Python
• You have an understanding of different cryptography algorithms
• Hunger for learning new things
• Good communication skills and sense of humour
• You are curious about blockchain, cryptocurrency, banking and payments and are interested in a career in this industry.
