Backend Team Lead (Java) (offline)

They address the need for digitization in the Agriculture industry and provide scalable solutions for the whole ecosystem – from smallholder farms to industrial growers, global food and beverage companies, governments and NGOs, and agricultural insurance companies.
The client's platform collects vast data amounts from numerous sources, ranging from native mobile apps to satellite images and machinery, and turns it into actionable insights.
It's used in more than 30 countries, by agricultural businesses of all types: large-scale growers, multi-farm corporations, private equities, ag-buyers, food conglomerates, ag-financing, and insurance companies, as well as governments and NGOs.

Responsibilities
● As the Back End team leader, you will manage an agile team working on new challenging projects and support the existing platform.
● You will be responsible for the Architecture of the platform and the selection of a suitable technology stack to fulfill the business requirements same time not compromising on the scalability and security of the solution.

Requirements
● At least 5 years experience programming with Java stack technologies
● At least 3 years experience working with Docker Experience in design and implementation of Microservices
● Experience in designing high performance APIs

Will be a plus
● At least 3 years experience in a start up environment
● Deep knowledge of SQL Experience in working with Kafka
● Experience in design and implementation of real time analytics
