The successful applicant will be responsible for creating, updating, and organizing technical documents online, developing best practices, advising others on how to create and manage their documentation, conducting surveys to improve information management , and explaining complex information in a clear and concise manner both in written and in verbal form.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, organize, write, and edit online documentation for processes, procedures, and training materials.
- Assimilate information from multiple sources.
- Research and document descriptions of application functionality.
- Evaluate and Improve the structure and management of online documentation to maximize is usability.
- Meet with global team members in multiple time zones to develop best practices to meet departmental information needs.
- Conduct surveys and analyze results to improve information flow.
- Present related information in meetings.
Qualifications and Skills :
- At least 2 years of proven experience in technical documentation.
- Ability to create, assimilate, and convey technical material in a concise and effective manner.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Analytical and reasoning skills.
- Open-minded innovator.
Would be a plus:
- Experience with Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence)
- Education: Master or Specialist degree in computer science or any other related field.
