Senior QA Automation Engineer (Java or Python) in a product company (offline)

Tonic Health is looking for a talented Automation Engineer who can share with us our passion for changing American healthcare and bring the quality of our product to the new level:

About you

- 4+ years of automation (+load +stress) experience in web and mobile projects
- Experience in manual or automation testing on iPad or iPhone
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle
- Knowledge and applying different testing methodologies
- Understanding client-server architecture
- Web services API testing (SOAP, REST), SQL

- Experience in writing autotests with Python or Java and Selenium/Playwright/Puppeteer
- Experience of Agile (e.g. Scrum) and iterative development processes
- English — Intermediate+

Will be a big plus

- Experience with support of implementing testing best practices in a dev team

Responsibilities
- Providing crucial expertise of quality assurance process inside the dev team
- Design and develop the automation approach in the company to build continues testing as the part of SDLC
- Analysis of user stories with a product owner and the dev team to find all possible usage scenarios
- Mutual designing of a proper testing approach with the dev team for each user story
- Develop and execute API and UI test automation
- Manual exploratory testing execution (if needed)
- Transforming and/or improving the testing process on an ongoing basis
