Middle/Senior Python Developer Offline

UKEESS Software House is looking for a Middle/Senior Python Developer to join our ambitious team for the full-time position (either in Lviv or remotely).

About the Customer’s Project:

This is one of the most investment-attractive startups (USA) in the field of HoReCa, which is trusted by thousands of hospitality operators around the globe.

Only in just a few clicks, users can book a table in a restaurant, etc. Also, the platform allows hospitality operators to easily manage different processes and connect data across the guest journey for the best success and the best experiences for visitors.

This project has been on the market for over 10 years and continues to develop actively! For example, in the summer of 2020, it raised a new $ 50 million (and a little earlier received an investment from the Alexa Fund (AWS). Looking through the COVID-19 situation, this is a very cool achievement for this kind of product!

Responsibilities:

You will be a part of a new team that will be working on a platform that enables to automatically drive revenue and profitability by leveraging data to build direct relationships, deliver exceptional experiences, and increase repeat business

As a part of the team, you will:

- Collaborate closely with members of other teams throughout the delivery of the product

- Write Python code based on functional specification and technical design. Adhere to architectural standards and develop designs that consider impact with other aspects of the database and appropriately leverage existing code

- Perform code reviews, identify potential issues to reduce technical debt, and provide coding best practice recommendations.

Knowledge, Skills, And Competencies:

- Experience developing web applications

- At least 3 years of experience in Python backend

- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

- Strong sense of self-motivation, organization, and attention to detail; strong analytical skills

- Experience with Scrum/Agile methodology, CI/CD

- English: upper-intermediate level (both speaking and writing)

It will be a plus:

- Experience with Django

- Experience or strong knowledge with Google Cloud Platform (GCP): AppEngine, Datastore (potentially moving to Firestore), BigQuery.
