Senior Tableau Developer (L4) (offline)

Our client is a leading global Financial markets data provider runs a number of change programs to deliver of high-quality software that connects Financial Markets across the globe in a real-time, high frequency and low-latency data management chain. The system is a big data solution that used for preparing trade analytics and regulatory reporting. The overall project is to design, create and deploy Tableau dashboards, data visualizations and reporting for our foreign exchange (FX) platform. The project is used by end-users for better analysis of large data sets and to help make better decisions. From technical perspective it is used Kafka, HDFS, Parquet, SQL, analytics based on Spark, Scala, SQL and Java, XML, reporting as well as Tableau desktop and server; Impala and their big data components.
Responsibilities:
• Perform hands-on data analysis using Tableau to process, model and visualize sizable volumes of data
• Develop and maintain a business-driven data analytics product
• Maintain and support of existing Tableau products and application
• Work with business stakeholders to design and build Tableau solutions based on requirements provided
• Work directly with various customers to understand their business and help to define and articulate requirements
• Work with business stakeholders to design and build Tableau solutions based on requirements provided
• Create functional and impactful visualizations that help stakeholders across organization absorb information quickly and easily.
• Demonstrating passion about visualization layout, color, appearance, and functionality
• Ensuring that your visualizations convey information accurately and efficiently to your audience
• Creating appealing dashboards that make it easy for users to explore data and gain insights
Mandatory Skills Description:
* Bachelor's degree
* 2 years experience in Tableau, specifically in Tableau layouts
* Ability to make interactive dashboards for Tableau
* Hands-on experience using Tableau to create impressive visualizations
* Experience in direct working with various customers to understand their business and help to define and articulate requirements.
* Experience in direct working with business stakeholders to design and build Tableau solutions based on requirements provided
* Experience in creation of functional and impactful visualizations that help stakeholders across organization absorb information quickly and easily
* Experience training and providing expert consulting on Tableau techniques and best practices
* Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels within technical and business organizations
* Expertise in designing effective visualizations of analytics
Nice-to-Have Skills:
* Use Javascript with Tableau
* Use Tableau with Impala
* Scala
* Tableau admin experience
* Familiarity with banking, financial concepts, financial data and market data
