Computer Vision Research Engineer (offline)

You will work closely with members of our Research and Engineering teams to improve and optimize existing algorithms and models and help bring products to market based on relevant research.

Qualifications and Skills

—3+ years of software engineering and research experience
—2+ years of experience with common machine learning and/or computer vision concepts
—Strong knowledge of different deep learning architectures and frameworks (Pytorch, Tensorflow)
—Experience with Python including multithreading and multiprocessing
—Knowledge of classical algorithms and data structures
—Basic understanding of Big Data, understanding of the difference between MapReduce and in-memory processing
—Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

—Knowledge of classic computer vision algorithms (i.e., Mathematical Morphology, Foreground extraction, etc.)
—Knowledge of existing object detection algorithms
—Knowledge of deep learning principles, particularly as it relates to existing video features
—Knowledge of generative models
—Experience with digital image processing
—Knowledge of neural nets optimizations (pruning, quantization)
—Cross-platform development, code optimization skills
—Expertise in Linux environment
—Experience with Docker
—Experience with C++
—Experience participating in ML competitions
