Senior iOS engineer (offline)

After a stint in YCombinator, the world’s most prestigious startup incubator, and a successful crowdfunding campaign, we’re growing and we’re growing fast. We’re building out our engineering team and laying the groundwork for our next generation of products.

You’ll be working with an incredibly talented team of engineers who’ve built some amazing things. You’ll also be working with some pretty savvy business folks who’ve founded successful companies. Responsibilities and Job Requirements/ Key skills:
- Design and build applications for the iOS platform
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Proficient with Swift and Objective-C, and Cocoa Touch
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
- Experience with Cocoa APIs on OS X
- Experience with JavaScript
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred
- Experience with performance and memory tuning
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT
- Familiarity with continuous integration

Security products using AI for residential and commercial markets in USA.

Team size/structure:
Our team is currently about 20+ engineers, globally distributed, and the structure is flat. The company is roughly 40 people.
