Ruby developer (offline) $5000-6000

The company that is hiring - it's product company, one of the UK’s leading PropTech companies. Their software is utilized by major corporations, thousands of letting agents, housing associations and developers across the UK to automate over 250,000 tenant notifications and utility switches per year.
They are consistently recognised by the Northern Tech Awards as a Top 50 growth company, this is your chance to be part of an exciting business with multiple technical projects running. The company have been running since 2014.
21 People currently work at the company, 3 within the tech team. We are looking to expand this to 5 people in the short term and possibly 7 within 12 months.
Our office is based in Manchester United Kingdom, this will be a remote and flexible working environment. The CEO, is currently based in Kiev for the next 3 months and
often visits the country. You will have access to informal meetings directly with the CEO once a month.
There are many interesting projects underway. They range from:
1. Feature requests and additions to the underlying system.
2. Entirely new systems built from scratch.
Responsibilities
Our development focus is on reducing the cost of future change, so we insist on
- Literate code that clearly states its intention
- BDD using Cucumber to drive development
- Detailed code reviews
- Working thoughtfully with low stress so we can produce code with minimal debt
We encourage and want to do more collaborative development using pairing, so you need to be highly proficient with the English language. We use javascript minimally.
Requirements
About the candidate An experienced developer, who can effectively manage their time and tasks without close management. Someone who is comfortable to both work alone and also pair. Someone who is proficient, or willing to learn BDD and TDD.

We offer a flexible remote working environment. We collaborate via Slack. Hours are 9-5:30 UK time. We support earlier hours (max -2).
Our salary package to be determined. We would like to discuss the benchmarking of this with you.
We are looking for senior and junior hires. Priority is senior.
28 days paid holiday (including national holidays)
