Technical Support Specialist (German & English) (offline)
- Email/Tickets processing, testing, and troubleshooting according to provided documentation and training;
- Dispatching tickets to various functional customer’s teams;
- Ongoing learning and staying up-to-date on all relevant products and technologies;
- Providing phone support for end customers;
- Focus on Supporting Managed Service customers using client’s Cloud Security (we provide training on that);
- Provide Support for other products in the German language;
- Proactively identify issues that may affect customers and escalate them for resolution.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of security principles and best practices;
- Higher education degree in Information Technology or similar vocational education (students who are finishing education are also welcome);
- Understanding of networking and security software and hardware;
- Basic understanding of DNS, SMTP, Anti-Spam and Anti-Malware solutions;
- Programming or scripting experience is a plus;
- Strong verbal and written English and German skills;
- Experience in a service desk or tech support is a plus;
- Business communication and soft skills;
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- English level: Intermediate+ (Spoken is a must) / Upper-intermediate and higher
- German level: Intermediate+ (Spoken is a must) / Upper-intermediate and higher
Would be a plus:
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and with a team;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, effectively manage priorities, meet deadlines;
- Ability to work in a distributed and multi-cultural environment;
- Strong self-learning abilities and knowledge of the latest security threats.
