Mobile Team Lead (Android or iOS/Android) (offline)

Project:
Our client - part of American media conglomerate, is an e-commerce company with headquarter in Seattle.

Team Composition: 1 Architect / Lead, 2 BE, 2 FE, 1 Mobile Team Lead, 2 iOS, 2 Android SDEs.

Communication:
Regular working hours. At least 2hrs overlap with PST business hours for daily meetings.

Responsibilities:
✔ Managing the team of 4-5 mobile developers
✔Develop fellow teammates by conducting code reviews, providing mentorship
✔ Creating new features for Android app
✔ Support and maintenance of Android app
✔ Ensure high quality of the code

Skills Required
✔ 5+ years of engineering experience building Android applications using Kotlin and Java-SDK
✔ 1+ years of engineering experience in iOS (nice to have)
✔Broad and deep understanding of Android's architectural components (Room, LiveData, Jetpack, etc.) and the MVVM architecture.
✔ Experience working with RESTful APIs using XML and JSON
✔ Understanding of multi-threading, concurrent programming, memory management, and/or performance optimization
✔ Proven working knowledge of software engineering techniques, methodologies, ​and practices
✔ Upper Intermediate English is a must
