Middle strong/Senior Full-Stack Developer (Ruby + Stimulus.js) (offline)

We are looking for a Middle strong/Senior Full-Stack (Ruby + Stimulus.js) developer to join our development team. You should be experienced enough to come up with your own solutions and ideas, pay attention to code architecture and optimization.

The project is a content management system that supports three quite popular media solutions for investors in Canada. Our product using the latest AI technology to power an affordable portfolio management platform that narrows the investment knowledge gap. Users can link their portfolios, personalize an investment toolset and manage a portfolio (or many) with confidence. We provide our users with up-to-date ticker and financial information, filtered to their specifications. Our sites contain cutting-edge articles to keep self-investors in the know. Ultimately, we want to provide the right information that narrows the investment knowledge gap.

Your work will include direct communication with a client, so you should be confident in your communication skills.


Responsibilities:

Participate in the development process;
Cooperate with the back-end developer, PM, and Client;
Recognize opportunities to improve code efficiency;
Maintain code and documentation integrity and organization;
Participate in estimating new features;
Keep up with emerging trends and technologies;
Build reusable components.

Requirements:

3+ years of commercial experience with Ruby on Rails;
Experience with MySQL;
Experience with Stimulus.js;
Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6), HTML, HTTP;
Experience with Tailwind CSS;
Experience with Elasticsearch, Redis, Docker;
Upper-Intermediate English.

Nice to have:

Experience with Kubernetes, React, Graph Database;
Experience with Microservices.
