Python Software Engineer (offline)

Type of employment: full time, remote
Schedule:‌‌ 8 hours/day from 12pm to 9pm, Kyiv time

We don’t always have all the answers, but we are working hard every day to advance supplement research through honest practices using reliable data.

Now we are looking for Python Software Engineer is an individual who is responsible for writing, debugging, maintaining, and testing software which will automate different operational processes in the company.
A Python Software Engineer must be able to create innovative, scalable, fault-tolerant software solutions which will automate and simplify routine work and enhance processes efficiency.
In efforts to cover all development requests, a Python Software Engineer utilizes a wide array of skills including but not limited to api integration skills, database skills, parsing/scraping skills etc

Our ideal candidate has the following skills and qualifications:
● deep programming language knowledge (Python);
● solid experience with Flask or Django;
● good understanding and hands-on experience with Docker;
● good experience with GitHub;
● proven problem solving and debugging skills;
● familiarity with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.);
● knowledge of the software development life-cycle;
● ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications;
● experience working on a variety of software development projects;
● bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree or equivalency;
● the desire to work in a fast-paced environment;
● Linux and Windows administration skills.

Will be a plus:
● experience with Amazon MWS API, Shopify API, Walmart API, other ecommerce platforms API;
● familiarity with GCP Kubernetes and KNative;
● experience with Amazon AWS, Azure, GCP.

Job to be done:
● сreation of integrations between different applications/websites;
● сreation of data mining/gathering tools;
● сreation of scrapers/parsers/crawlers/bot for different purposes;
● automation of business workflows;
● improvement/maintenance/fixing all existed applications and code;
● support and creation of scripts for company’s BI tool;
● improvement and support company’s product launch platform;
● bug Fixes and improvement of company’s customer’s loyalty website;
● test code to ensure compatibility and stability: refine and rewrite as necessary;
● analyze user requirements;
● work closely with project manager, other developers, systems analysts;
● create clear technical documentations and specifications.
