Project Overview:
Our team is developing an anonymization solution which is a set of algorithms for performing use case specific anonymization of location data. Besides, it provides tools to assess the remaining amount of privacy sensitive information in an anonymized data set. This is useful to:

-Test the anonymization algorithms
-Tune the parameters of the anonymization algorithms
-Research new anonymization techniques

Our privacy assessment tools are written in Python and involve a ML-based attacker, which tries to recover the identity of the users from the anonymized data. The tools are orchestrated using AirFlow, and are to be migrated onto Ray.

The Senior Python Engineer we are looking for will be tasked with automating data analysis tasks previously done by our data science team.

Tech stack:
AirFlow, FastAPI, Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, Tensorflow, EC2, S3, Beanstalk, Lambda, EKS, ECS, SQS

Responsibilities:
-Build a scalable, reliable, operable and performant big data processing pipelines for the team's data scientists.
-Drive efficiency and reliability improvements through design and automation: performance, scaling, observability, and monitoring
-Support your fellow teammates, review the team's technical design, code, and documentation
NOTE: this is not a vacancy to ML/DS engineer or a Data Analyst, but rather a position for a Sr Python Engineer who can understand already created algorithms to rewrite/improve the way they are currently implemented in order to increase maintainability and performance.

Requirements:
-Overall programming experience (at least 5 years)
-Fluency with Python 3 (at least 3 years)
-Being able to work autonomously
-Willingness to ensure the quality of your own code (unit tests)
-Upper-intermediate level of written and spoken English, ability to articulate and communicate clearly complex topics

Nice to have

Data Engineering skills (in decreasing order of importance):
Data manipulation (Pandas)
Data preparation (feature extraction for ML)
Scaling in python (Ray)
Orchestration (AirFlow)
Understanding of streaming data
Experience with big data and distributed systems
