Challenges you’ll meet:
• Collaborate with Software Development teams, Product Managers, and Business Owners to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems
• Stay up to date on relevant technologies pertinent to the role and understand trends and opportunities to ensure the company continues to use the best possible techniques and tools to create software
• Ensure implementations and development activities always lead towards enriching knowledge base documentation, including capturing design details, usage, maintenance, configuration, and deployment notes
• Evolve the existing application/system infrastructure to improve and scale applications
• Serve as a technical advisor and perform troubleshooting to resolve technical challenges for development and production environments
• Communicate status and risks to the product teams
• Help automate and streamline operations and processes
• Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations to support business process requirements
• Develop and maintain serverless infrastructure across AWS services
• Mentoring and guiding the team members

Your professional qualities:
•5+ years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer in a large, complex, and successful organization
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, K8s/EKS)
• Knowledge in code-based configuration, load-balancing, auto-scaling, monitoring, networking and problem-solving in a cloud environment, preferably on the following AWS services (SNS, SQS, RDS, CloudWatch, Route53, CloudFront, S3, IAM, AWS Lambda, API Gateway)
• Deep working experience with Linux
• Experience with CI/СD tools, preferably GitlabCI
• Experience with monitoring/logging (Graylog, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Database knowledge, both RDBMS and NoSQL
• Experience with Infrastructure Service as Code tools, preferably Terraform, CloudFormation
• Proven experience in programming with Python

Nice to have :
• 1+ plus year experience leading a multidisciplinary team, working in a fast paced, high velocity agile environment
• Experience with project management
• Experience with HA live products
• Associate or higher level of AWS certifications
• Experience with Jenkins
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts for multi-platform/multi-language projects
• Understanding security concepts and best practices
• AWS CDK and AWS SAM
