Director of European Recruiting Team (offline)

JOB RESPONSIBILITY
You'll be overseeing our European team of recruiters and researchers who hire software engineers, project managers, business analysts, designers, marketers, and more across countries like Ukraine, Turkey, Moldova, Germany, and Kazakhstan. Our company has been growing fast, and we're looking for a Director of Recruiting who has both the experience and drive to be a mentor to the recruiting team and to help us continue to scale up efficiently and effectively. This person will manage the recruiters and researchers and will help them convince talent to join the Plan A family.

In a typical week, you'll do a lot of the following:
Advise our researchers about ways to better source and connect with talent
Help our recruiters to attract more staff using LinkedIn, email, phone calls, and more
Set up partnerships with universities, attend job fairs, and represent our company at key recruiting events
Screen candidate resumes and conduct interviews
Co-present job offers to candidates, negotiate compensation packages, and help inspire people to join our team
Establish policies and procedures to strengthen our global recruiting efforts
Oversee communication between our recruiting team and our client delivery team
Track recruiting team productivity and satisfaction to continually enhance both metrics
Work in partnership with our recruiting team in the Americas
Contribute to our branding and marketing efforts to build our reputation among prospective new hires
Improve the operations of our European recruiting team

To be clear, we have a separate HR department -- this role is focused 100% on recruiting, not on other HR responsibilities.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
At least 6+ years of recruiting experience (ideally at a software company)
Experience with a very fast-growing company
Incredible attention to detail, and highly organized
An energetic, knowledgeable leader who can inspire both colleagues and potential hires
A good educational background
A trustworthy contributor who takes responsibility for the team’s performance
The ability to think creatively about new approaches to successfully attract talent in ultra-competitive areas
Must have solid English and either Ukrainian or Russian
