About The Role

The Engineering Team Lead is responsible to lead an offshore team that is dedicated to developing custom solutions and integrate features with the core product. The offshore team is completely remote from the main office, consists of Software Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers and QA Engineers.

- Build deep understanding of the projects being worked on
- Participate and lead discussions on key technical and architectural design
- Make sure the codes are up to best practice and industry standard
- Construct a stable team to provide long term success

- Represent the quality of the team by leading on best practice and testing effort
- Ensure the team automates their work as much as possible

Build trust through effective communication
- Work closely with product team, design team and other project stakeholders to ensure the project is on the right track
- Communicate with Director of Engineering to ensure the project’s roadmap and project vision is aligned with the management team

- Support Director of Engineering to build a positive team culture

About You

Essential Skills & Experience
- Have experience managing small teams that consists of software engineers, SRE and QA
- Have strong technical background on one of React, Typescript, or Node.js
- Good understanding and experience with AWS cloud technologies
- Demonstrated ability to make and implement solid software decisions
- Demonstrated ability to build (CI\CD) process


Desirable Skills & Experience
- Understanding web-based 3d development is a plus
- Previous education degree or work experience in engineering industry is a plus

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent experience
