Senior Database Specialist (offline) $1000-4000

What we definitely expect from you:
University Degree preferably in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or other appropriate discipline or qualified by experience in a related discipline
3 to 5 years of experience in managing lifecycle and maintaining of relation and/or non-relational databases
Proven working experience in developing concepts and maintaining existing systems on public cloud solution
Experience in configuring, developing and consulting application owners
Proven experience in implementing DevOps methods and working within an CI/CD based environment
Proven knowledge in Relational / Non-Relational Databases PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, MSSQL and MariaDB
Expertise in Cloud Technology like AWS, Azure and Oracle Cloud Infra
Expertise in Data Replicate with Qlik Replicate, Event Streaming with Apache Kafka
Good Compliance and Information Security knowledge
Ability to understand and interpret business needs and associated technical requirements
Good communication skills in English as well as good presentation skills with an ability to adapt your communication to the target group
Ability to work independently, taking over responsibility and ownership
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills by thinking out of the box
Experience in participating in agile projects and tasks in a global environment with multicultural teams
Fluency in English is required, fluency in German is a plus

Key responsibilities:
Develop concepts and solutions for database products in cloud environment (AWS, Azure and Oracle Cloud) and on-premises
Manage lifecycle and maintain of relation and/or non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL, MongoDB, MariaDB)
Develop and maintain of DB automation capabilities based on CI/CD and Release on Demand methods
Steer external service providers based on SLA’s and KPI’s
Work as part of an agile delivery team based on SAFe methodology
Support and consult products and application with data replicate and event streaming tasks
