Who are we and what do we do?

FreySoft is a technology partner of an international FinTech company with branches in Britain, Poland, and Spain employing 800+ people. Our client's product is a platform for international payments in more than 150 countries: a mobile application that is used by more than 4 million people with hundreds of thousands daily transactions!


How old is the project and what is the current stage of the project?
Over the last 2 years, the monolithic architecture has been transformed into more than 400 microservices. The new functionality that we create helps to reduce the cost of transactions for money transfers. Our specialists develop, test, and support APIs. Also, FreySoft integrates applications with payment systems and other external services, which will be the main area of responsibility of this role.


What technologies do we use?
The project uses the latest stable versions of languages, frameworks and libraries. Generally speaking, these are Jenkins CI / CD, AWS cloud, SQL, Mongo, Kafka, Java, .NET Core, ReactJS, Kotlin, Swift and others.

Technical skills:

— AWS (more than 3 years of experience in prod)
— Kubernetes (more than 1 year of experience in prod)
— Terraform (more than 1 year of experience)
— Experience with microservice architecture
— Coding experience (Python/Groovy/Java/Javascript/Go)
— Written and spoken English is a must.

It would be a plus:
— Experience in AppDynamics;
— Experience with Git;
— Experience in work with enterprise companies;
— Experience Kafka migration (Aiven to Confluent).


You will:

— Regular DevOps tasks CICD work (mainly Jenkins);
— AWS Terraform related tasks;
— Kubernetes related work;
— Helping dev teams.
