Senior Node.js Developer (offline)

Project description:

● Domain - Robotics solutions.
● Plan to do work for learning and schools that will help and play with children in different games for development.
● They have two locations Germany (2 offices ) and Austria (1 office) - the developing team is in Austria (Vienna). Company size 22 employees, Information Technology & Services. The team consists of 1 Android developer (from Ukraine) and 2 Full Stack developers, 1 designer, and 5 more FrontEnd and BackEnd developers (two of them are also from Ukraine). There is a PM/Scrum master and you will mostly report to the CTO (Co-Founder).


Mandatory Requirements:

● 4-5 years of commercial software development experience
with JavaScript (Node.js);
● Strong skills in writing a clean code and focusing on simplicity;
● Experience in building scalable, reliable and high-performance applications;
● Excellent communication skills and Upper-Intermediate English;
● Being hardworking and ready to study new things every day.


Optional Requirements:

● Experience with designing APIs as a plus;
● Knowledge of database technologies (MongoDB);
● Have strong architectural skills;
● Experience in building native applications using JavaScript;
● Experience with DevOps field;
● Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or Google Clouds;
● Knowledge of Kubernetes cluster will be also a big +;
● Knowledge of scripting and container environments.


Main Responsibilities:

● Development of a performant, high-quality code that will support a rapidly scaling for backend microservices and customer facing applications;
● Implementing best practices and technical solutions;
● Taking ownership of business requirements and design, implementation of new services and products/implement test solutions;
● Development and integration of new applications and enhancements, evaluation of upcoming technologies.
