Senior Back End Engineer (offline)

Responsibilities:

- Take ownership of the design, coding and maintenance a complex cloud based software systems;
- Collaborate with Algorithm Engineers, Data Scientists an other Software Engineers to
- Build highly distributed data and processing components;
- Work closely with Product Managers to create the best environment data and insights delivery platform;
- Coach and support junior developers in the team;
- Take leading part in shaping the technical roadmap of the backend system

Technical capabilities:

- 5+ years of industry experience in building distributed systems and software;
- Passion for building software that’s extensible, reusable and above all simple to maintain;
- Deep familiarity with one of the following: Python (preferred), PHP, Node;
- Excellent debugging and performance optimization capabilities;
- Deep familiarity with data persistence technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Key-Value);
- Extensive experience in working with at least one leading public cloud platforms (GCP preferred);
- Deep experience with Docker and related container orchestration tools.
