Support Engineer (2 lvl) (offline)

ECNLabs is a company that Syncier GmbH contracted in 2018 to offer all insurance companies a cloud-based management platform for their insurance contracts.

What we are doing
Our team, which is based in Munich and Kyiv, is building up a next generation insurance platform and is delivering value to our customers.

How you can contribute
You will play a crucial role in shaping our product and help us to deliver value to our customers. We would love when you take part in:
- Actively participating in the agile development (SCRUM) of our Customers product’s
- Maintain Customers applications
- Supporting our 1st level Service Desk Team
- Taking responsibility for 2nd lvl incidents
- Pair up on tasks with your teammates and Customers development team, review code, leave the codebase better than you found it, and help everyone in the team to become a better engineer
- Write clean and maintainable code with meaningful tests so that you would enjoy taking over from a colleague
- Proactively communicate, document, and share your approach, progress, results, and challenges

Our team truly believes in “Individuals and interactions over processes and tools”, so your problem solving skills, creativity, drive and motivation to learn new things are most important for us. However, the following references give you a guideline of what experiences could be helpful:
- You have good coding skills
- You are a familiar with Java / Kotlin
- You have experience with Angular
- You are familiar with modern frameworks like Spring Boot
- You have experience with DevOps and CI/CD Systems
- You are familiar with Kubernetes
- Nice to have experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of German language is a plus
