Overview of the Position

Our dedicated QA Manual Tester works under the supervision of our CTO. Responsible for designing and implementing test plans to improve the usability of our products. The QA Engineer works with the development team to certify quality correct errors and troubleshoot any issues with software code.


What you will do: (Duties and Responsibilities)

-Conduct different levels of manual testing (Functional, System, Integration, Regression, etc.) and certify the software
-Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
-Analyze users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
-Convert story acceptance criteria (explicit and implicit) into test cases
-Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
-Communicate clearly with the team about the defects
-Provide support and documentation for test artefacts/test-cases
-Collaborate with other team members and departments
-Provide analytical metrics about the tests, test coverage plan and inputs for improvement


Requirements and Qualifications

-At least 3+ years of experience as a Software quality assurance engineer or similar role
-Tools (some of these or similar) such as Postman, LoadRunner, Rest-Assured, SoapUI, VS Code, etc.
