Our customer is the leading provider of digital transformation and workspace automation software and automated app testing and packaging solution, can be purchased as a platform or as individual modules.

Their clients are large companies (many Fortune 500) with lots of data about their Desktop environment, but very little information. Our products help them make sense of it all and get their migration projects flying.

Description of the role
Our software is built predominantly using Microsoft technology. Behind the scenes are SQL Server databases which have data bulk imported into them via C# executables and CLR. Both normalised and dimensional (star) schemas are used and data is transformed using stored procedures, agent jobs and SSIS. SQL Server Analysis Services (OLAP) is also a key part
of our solution. Data access is done with either LINQ-to-Entities or ADO.NET/stored procedures depending on the complexity of the query. Performance, scalability and security are key.
