Software Developer in Test/SDET Offline

Requirements:

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience with engineering tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, etc

- Knowledge of OOP with Python, Java, or similar high-level programming language

- Strong understanding of how cloud-based services work

- Experience testing REST-based APIs and services

- Docker/Kubernetes experience is strongly preferred

- Empathetic toward end-users and devoted to exceptional user experience

- Driven towards a strong sense of ownership towards your work

- Familiar with Agile development methodologies

Responsibilities:

- Maintain our test automation infrastructure

- Create and refine continuous integration strategies

- Contribute to test automation infrastructure by writing and augmenting test libraries and services

- Work closely with Scrum team members to improve quality through the entire SDLC

- Work closely with Site Reliability Engineers to decouple legacy systems for testability

- Contribute to software design and code reviews

- Introduce and influence process improvements

- Moving towards a cloud-native architecture leveraging Go and Python

- Moving testing framework from Java to Go and Python

- NoSQL and RDBMS databases

- Github for source code storage and Jenkins for builds

- GCP hosting with Kubernetes

- Confluence for documentation and JIRA for bug tracking
