QA Automation Lead, Telecommunications (offline)

DataArt’s specialists are helping develop an analytical solution which tracks transactions that determine the quality of customer experience with network service providers (QoE). From these transactions, key indicators are displayed, such as radio frequency performance, base signal speed, and service performance (VoLTE, SMS). All metrics are combined into the final QoE estimates, which are used to determine hot spots and help localize and solve service quality problems.

Responsibilities

Facilitate test automation for cloud-native and air-gapped deployments for performant enterprise platform and domain-specific solutions
Manage test strategies for performance at scale, ensuring implementation quality, durability and resiliency, and achievement of domain-specific objectives
Evangelize test stacks and lead cross-domain adoption

Must have

5+ years of experience in test solution automation for enterprise software platforms in air-gapped and cloud-provider environments
Working experience automating test, system segmentation, and fault isolation in event-driven microservice architectural patterns
In-depth understanding of current build and automation tools for testing and performance
Ability to provide best practices, templates, and evangelizing test technologies
Experience with introduction of network impairment and emulation mocks for faults as domain-specific test suite staged expectations
Strong knowledge of distributed architectures and microservice event-driven architectures
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts
Good English

Would be a plus

Higher education in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
Knowledge of the Agile Development Process
Experience with VMWare, OpenStack, AWS, GCE, Azure
Familairity with Chaos engineering
Familiarity with Gherkins language and mobility domain
Working experience with Linux, Python, Go, Scala, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript
