Senior React Engineer (Germany) (offline)

Job Description
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Profound working knowledge in software engineering with frontend tools and frameworks for web development (React, Babel, Webpack, NPM)

Experience working with CI/CD tools, Jira & Git, and writing unit tests

Familiarity with RESTful APIs & specifications in swagger/openapi, as well as frontend, build pipelines, tools & authorization mechanisms (JWT)

Demonstrated competency using cloud technologies

Ability to effectively work with team members & customers around the globe in a virtual environment

Strong proficiency in the English language, an agile mindset, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to embrace change & new technologies



Job Responsibilities
The Web Development Engineer (React) translates business needs into technical application design. This role is responsible for planning, estimating, and developing product interfaces in an agile environment in alignment with the product owners. The Web Development Engineer actively partners with product/solution owners and UX experts to translate jointly defined unit testings into a working interactive experience. Moreover, this role defines quality assurance processes in close cooperation with the QA team and supports the developed solutions throughout the life cycle of the application – contributing to the development of standards, guidelines, & best practices. This position is responsible for the compatibility and the responsiveness of the user interface.

Department/Project Description
Front-end developers will strongly contribute to the client's software development journey.

The project we’re building is a complex asset management system for managing the acquisition, relocation, and disposal of assets (tools for construction sites). It provides features like depreciation calculation, physical verification, barcode reader, importing data, etc.

Using ~30 Java microservices has 50+ integrations with internal/external services.
