Front End JavaScript Developer (offline)

Required Skills:


— 5+ years working as a Developer or a combination of education and experience

— Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree

— Proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Docker, Git


Responsibilities:


— Responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with in a web application

— Develop new user-facing features

— Build reusable code and libraries for future use

— Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

— Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

— Ensure changes are validated before submitting to back-end

— Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

— Develop functional and appealing web- and mobile-based applications based on usability

— Provide website maintenance, bug fixing, and enhancements

— Write functional requirement documents and specifications

— Create quality mockups and prototypes on tight timelines

— Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting


Nice to have qualifications:


— Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS

— Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery

— Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

— Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image

— Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

— Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
