Business Analyst/Product Owner (offline)

About the project:

It is a financial technology company, that together with its partners, provides the hardware, technology, infrastructure, and support services to enable businesses of all types to accept and process electronic payments. In addition, the Company's proprietary accounts receivable cloud automation software that facilitates the efficient exchange of documents and payments between suppliers and customers.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of SCRUM and the role of Product Owner within SCRUM;
3+ years of experience in business analysis;
Experience in writing product requirements (user stories, tech specs, etc.);
Understanding of SDLC workflow, integrations;
Be available to work 8:00 ET – 17:00 ET;
Upper-intermediate level of English.


Will be a plus:

Experience with payment gateways, international payments;
Good working knowledge of APIs;
Experience of working with the startup (or having one);
Experience in fintech projects.
Technical experience as a Developer or QA, experience with XML, JSON;
Experience with Netsuite.




Responsibilities:

Learn internal client's system features and functions;
Write new stories, and elaborate on existing stories, documenting expected results and acceptance criteria;
Work with product manager to understand the context of the deliverables;
Point of contact for the engineering team to raise questions as needed. Be able to escalate to the product manager for assistance;
Verify that deliverables meet requirements and acceptance criteria;
Hands-on exploration of relevant use cases in the client's system. Login to the application and explore feature, test and verify backwards compatibility of feature, consistency with other areas of the product, etc;
Update Jira as needed to reflect the status of stories;
Verify QA results;
Draft articles on functionality under the product manager’s guidance and assist in preparing training material.
