Middle to Senior Android Developer to the international gaming industry in GB (offline)

Headquartered in Estonia, we run offshore R&D centers in Kyiv and Lviv. Our team is 50% remote and distributed. We specialize in flexible interaction exclusively with international clients (we cover industries from commercial aviation to fintech) thanks to a multinational support group of experts and management.

Currently, we are looking for a Middle to Senior Android Developer to the Core Tech team.

The client: Product Madness burst into life in 2007 as the brainchild of two Stanford Business MBA graduates who possessed an
innate love of gaming. Initially, the entrepreneurs developed casual games for Facebook and mobile, before having a
‘light-bulb moment’ in 2009 and refocusing their efforts with laser-guided precision on the exploding social casino
genre. They have been bringing world-class social slots to real slots fans ever since! Now part of Aristocrat Leisure,
Product Madness has published hit titles Heart of Vegas, Cashman Casino, and FaFaFa on Facebook, iOS and
Android platforms and have grown considerably in size over the past year with offices in London, Austin, Las Vegas, and San Francisco.

Project: modernization of the Operational Platform.

What responsibilities & tasks will wait for you?
- Design and build applications for the mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with a team of developers, Technical Product Owner, and Project Manager to
define, design, and ship new features or improvements.
- Work with outside data sources and APIs.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies, patterns, libraries, etc. to
maximize development efficiency
- Conduct Code Reviews for the tasks finished by the team members.


What skills/qualities are required:
- Experience in native mobile development, or proficiency, in either Java, Kotlin.
- In-depth knowledge of software engineering principles and design, SOLID, and OOP.
- Experience with mobile platforms, operating systems, and infrastructure
- Experience in building flexible and reusable systems
- Highly experienced with automated testing
- Proficient with CI and SC
- Fluency in business English

Will be a plus:
- Best practices such as TDD, BDD, etc.
- Knowledge of network protocols work
- Experience in profiling and optimization
- C#/.NET knowledge is a plus

Work Schedule:
You can work from 9 am till 6 pm/from 10 am till 7 pm. OR due GB time
