Senior Node.js Software Engineer (offline) $4000-6000

MOBILESTYLES App is the on-demand Beauty & Health app in the US, MVP’s App Store rating – 4.8 out of 5.

We save time and money by blending beauty and technology together to help find health and beauty professionals that come anytime, anywhere. Our providers create personalized look books to display their craft. Clients browse through the app to find the perfect service providers that fit their busy schedule. It’s the product of a renowned image consultant who conceptualized the idea of a health and beauty platform.

Currently, we develop a new application version that has a completely different architecture and look for a Senior Node.js developer to join our international team (US, Moldova and Ukraine). Release planned for September.

Product tech stack: iOS – Swift, Objective-C, Android – Kotlin, Java, back-end – JavaScript, Node.js, PHP; AWS, Twilio, payments – Stripe, NGINX, Linux/Ubuntu, MongoDB.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluation and optimization of existing and new code;
Server maintenance and bug fixes;
Documenting application architecture and logic (UML, Logical diagrams);
Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency;
API reference documentation;
Server deployment;
Server monitoring.

MUST HAVE:
4+ years of experience with JavaScript language and Node JS;
Strong knowledge of algorithm complexity evaluation and memory management;
Strong knowledge of networking;
Experience with delivery of high performance, easy readable code;
Server maintenance and deployment experience;
Experience with server scalability.

PHP;

Stripe;

Linux/Ubuntu;
MongoDB.
