SecOps Specialist (offline) $3000-4000

Greetings! My name is Maria and I am looking for a talented SecOps Specialist to join the American product company of my customer (head office is located in California). The solutions protect organizations from data leakage and loss of data in the cloud by monitoring, protecting and backing up sensitive SaaS data. AI-powered technology provides 24/7 monitoring and ransomware anomaly detection, identifies business and security risks to ensure business continuity, improve compliance and reduce IT costs. Within the product, there are two areas:
1) data backup and billing systems
2) cybersecurity

Nowadays there are 26 professionals working in the Kiev office. Hybrid cooperation is also possible as an option: 10 developers ( 2 team leads, 3 full stack developers, 2 front-end developers, 3 back-end developers ), 6 QAs, 4 DevOpses, 4 marketing specialists, 2 HRs.

Conditions:
Office in Kiev (or hybrid)
Monthly reward: 3000-4000$ gross
Recruitment process: 2 tech interviews
Contract: PE, direct contract

Requirements:
— 2+ years of experience of company infrastructure or services administration;
— Practical experience in OS Linux administration and troubleshooting server issues. Ability to identify and eliminate bottlenecks in server subsystems;
— Practical experience in setting up, administration and optimization of common open source products like Nginx\HAproxy, PostgreSQL, ELK, RabbitMQ or Kafka;
— Experience with deploying and administration of virtualization systems;
— Experience with orchestration systems, like Ansible, etc;
— Understanding the security part of enterprise architecture;
— Good understanding how microservice architecture works;

It will be a plus:
— Experience with one of cloud environments: AWS, GCP, Azure;
— Experience with security systems SIEM, WAF, IPS, VPN, AV, vulnerability scanners etc;
— Experience with code deployment systems for test and production environments;
— Experience with Hashicorp Terraform;
— English - intermediate+

Responsibilities:
— Administration of servers and network infrastructure of the company;
— Improve and automate company's security infrastructure;
— Monitoring and optimization of the company’s infrastructure and security events;
— Identification, analysis, and elimination of issues in the infrastructure of the company’s main services;
— Restoration of the corporate infrastructure and services in case of failures;
— Security incident response and root cause analysis;
— False positives and alert fatigue;
— Threat intelligence.
