Technical Writer #45 (offline)

Responsibilities
•Obtain a deep understanding of product and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content
Take part in organization of processes related to tech documentation creation & support (workflow, technical aspects, content descriptions, standards etc.)
•Tech documentation creation and support (product & process documentation: system components & architecture description, web api docs, dev/qa guidelines, specs, user journey schemes, user manuals etc.)
Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
•Define the approach, organize and manage documentation migration across the organization
•Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
•Determine the needs of users of technical documentation and establish the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension


Requirements
•1-3 years’ industry experience as an effective technical writer
•Superior written and oral communication skills (advanced English)
•Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences (user guides, help, learning and education material, product description, etc)
•Experience working with different types of projects
•Good understanding of SDLC
•Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter
•Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics


Nice to have
•Math/technical background
•Bug tracking system knowledge
