Junior Angular Engineer (offline)

We are transforming the travel industry, moving it to an upper level. In cooperation with the most famous tech and travel companies, we are creating a new global (ISO) standard for information interchange, new approaches, and ways how people travel.

SOLEAD team is fully responsible for technical solution, starting from technology and architectural decisions and up to production delivery and further support. Our local CTO drives the team to meet business goals and sales plans.

You will be building the end-client user web interfaces to communicate to powerful travel APIs. You can imagine something like https://booking.com/ to better understand your future tasks. You’ll learn and implement effective solutions to handle large amounts of data and present them to a user in the most suitable view free of load delays. Initially, you’ll be working with Angular, but in future other JS frameworks can be added to the project.

The project execution is based on Agile model with rapidly changing situation and priorities. You should be prepared to work in a fast-changing environment with intensive communication with teammates. Project collaboration and communication are established via GitLab, Jira, Confluence, and Teams.

As a junior engineer you will be mentored and guided by senior staff. Be prepared for an exciting journey to new knowledge and experience. You’ll meet great people and software professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities
• UI/UX design (if capable), development and unit testing of front-end interfaces according to the specifications and mentor’s guidance
• Participation in Agile/SCRUM process, following established project rules and practices
• Regular communication to other team members, including CTO
• Proactive suggestions how to improve the product, implementation of approved suggestions

Skills and Qualifications
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in computer science, applied math, or similar
• 6+ month experience in commercial software development
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Angular programming skills
• UI/UX design skills is a plus
• Agile/SCRUM knowledge, practice is a plus
• Proactivity and hardworking ability
• Intermediate English or higher (B1+)

This is a full-time position in Lviv, Ukraine.
