QA Analyst (offline)

Project description
As a QA Analyst, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a team whose mission is to improve the diamond shopping experience. Our client offers consciously-created, stunning lab-grown diamonds made with an environmentally conscious approach. Your main area of responsibility will be responsibility for developing manual tests for business high-priority scenarios. You should be both independent and an enthusiastic team player, have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and close attention to details.

The team is international and distributed across Belarus, Ukraine, UK, and the United States. The team uses Jira to manage the backlog and to prioritize work items. Communication mainly consists of daily meetings and interpersonal communication via Slack and Google Meet.

● Backend: Magento 2, WordPress CMS (ok for understanding, site blog is on WordPress)
● Technologies: PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Knockout.js
● Database: MySQL, Amazon S3
● OS: Windows, macOS, Linux
● Repository: GitHub, Bitbucket
● Tools Jira, QMetry, Postman, IntelliJ IDEA

Responsibilities
● Test new features and functionality
● Perform test execution on both UI and API levels
● Create detailed manual test cases. Work with the development team to analyze and resolve defects
● Maintain quality of the platform in a fast-paced deployment and release environment
● Support the full cycle of defect tracking
● Troubleshoot field issues and communicate directly with the team and customer

Qualifications and Skills
● 1+ years of experience with manual test scripts for requirement validation, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing
● Strong analytical skills and ability to understand multi-component systems
● Ability to prepare clear and informative reports
● Experience in API testing using Postman (nice to have)
● Magento experience nice to have
● Knowledge of REST
● Hands-on experience with Jira is a must
● Confident in testing using browser DevTools
● Knowledge of QMetry TMS is a plus
● Knowledge of test automation is an added advantage
● Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time management
● Enthusiastic and initiative, a personality that does not fear to offer new ideas and stand on his/her point of view
● Intermediate English level or higher
