Middle Frontend Developer (JS) (offline)

Project description
As a Frontend Developer, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a team of developers working on a web application to automate the analysis of customer financial documents. You will develop a mortgage offer aggregator that allows users to upload all financial documents and get information on what conditions they could get a mortgage. The platform automatically processes uploaded information using Machine Learning that speeds up the process of getting a mortgage in comparison with the existing manual systems.

Team structure and Workflow
The team is integrated and allocated in Belarus, Ukraine, and Chicago. Team members use Azure DevOps to generate backlog and to prioritize items. Communication mainly consists of daily meetings and interpersonal communication via Slack and Google Meet.

Responsibilities
● Design and develop a software application
● Analyze requirements, collaborate with team members to produce thoughtful software designs
● Provide accurate estimates on work items
● Participate in code review
● Sharing the knowledge and learning from the colleagues
● Facilitate engineering operation process to ensure high-quality software solutions concerning engineering excellence
● Be proactive and propose thoughtful decisions
● Be flexible and able to align with priorities coming from the business
● Follow frontend development best practices as well as team conventions

Qualifications
● 3+ years of experience in frontend development
● Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WebAPI
● Work experience with Vanilla JS, TypeScript, Web Components, D3, or similar libraries
● Intermediate English level or higher
● Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
● Fresh ideas and diversity in style and approach
● Good communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to represent your own and accept other points of view

Will be an advantage
● Experience with React/Redux ecosystem
● Experience with Cypress/Jest
● Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field
