Senior Front-End Engineer - Vue.js (offline)

For a project with our client 1010data, we are looking for a Front-End Engineer with excellent knowledge of Vue.js.

1010data travels at the speed of thought to make Big Data discovery easy; they power sub-second responses to analyses run on billions of rows of data. 1010data is defining the way the world interacts with data.

Your ultimate goal will be to shape and build efficient self-learning applications that automatically improve the overall quality of data. Our stack is Vue.js, Python (3.7+), Redis, Postgres.

What you will take on:

-Developing user-facing applications using Vue.js;
-Building modular and reusable components and libraries;
-Implementing automated testing integrated into development and maintenance workflows;
-Staying up-to-date with recent developments in the JavaScript and Vue.js space;
-Keeping an eye on security updates and issues found with Vue.js and all project dependencies;
-Integrating with QuickApps, our XML and TypeScript toolset, including the core object manager.

What you already have:

-Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features;

-Highly proficient with Vue.js framework and its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM;

-Familiarity with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, and Nuxt.js;

-Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, XML, and Typescript;

-Understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits and use cases;

-Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms;

-Proficiency with modern development tools, like Babel, Webpack, and Git;

-Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs;

-Interest and willingness to quickly pick up new languages;

-Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
