Scrum Master (offline)

Currently we’re assisting Fortius in setting up their team in Kyiv. Fortius is a high growth, cloud-based, SaaS subscription business, providing governance, risk management and compliance services to over 4,000 public and private sector clients and over 60,000 customers across 20 different sectors including construction, transport, retail, hospitality education, facility and property management, manufacturing, local and central government.

We manage the qualification, onboarding and audit requirements of individuals, companies, and industry bodies. We provide real-time monitoring and verification of critical data points across all work categories, tenders, and projects. We enable Buyers to access at the touch of a button, data analytics across their entire supply chain in areas such as validity and expiration of specific licenses, qualifications and certificates, accuracy of financial health, insurance levels and exclusions, CSR, infosec and environmental policies and up-to-date health and safety reports.

Responsibilities

Fortius is looking to appoint an experienced Scrum Master to play a major part in the design, implementation, future support and innovation of our next generation of technology solutions. The successful candidate will be work with a dynamic and entrepreneurial cross-functional Digital Transformation team, working in a fast paced and business aligned environment.

The role’s responsibilities will range from guiding our SCRUM teams on Agile principles and practices, removing impediments and facilitating getting work done without coercion, assigning or dictating in order to help Fortius build our best-in-class Supplier Risk Management platform. You will also co-ordinate our releases, within a high cadence CI/CD programme of work.

This role will suit enthusiastic technologists with pre-existing experience working for large-scale Enterprise businesses, helping build cutting-edge applications by increasing cross-team collaboration, enable the continuous improvement of our Agile teams and oversee our Agile working practices to bring our product to market quicker.

Qualifications

Must to Have skills:
• 5-7 years expertise in the delivery of change, with evidence of the ability to work within an Agile delivery framework, i.e., SCRUM, Kanban and/or other relevant ways of working.
• Experience working as a SCRUM master or Agile Project Manager on Application Development projects. Scrum/Kanban certification.
• Expert knowledge of the software delivery lifecycle to support Agile delivery.
• Expert knowledge of Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
• Managing people and collaboration.

• Commitment to achieving value-based outcomes with an appetite to embed Agile and Lean thinking as the norm and helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• A team player with demonstrable evidence of strong leadership, communication and influencing skills within cross-functional SCRUM teams.
• A strong and demonstrable alignment to the Agile values and principles, including a focus on transparency, inspection and the ability to adapt.
• Excellent planning and organising skills.
• A drive for efficient flow of work through teams by helping them remove obstacles and make improvements.

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Travelling
• Depending on project requirements, there could be travel.
