React FE developer (offline)

About the position:
This role is as a React Frontend Engineer. We are looking for strong junior developers who are looking for the next challenge that will push them to the next level and middle developers who want to prove their skills and enhance our project. The position will require good familiarity with React.js, Node.js and Typescript, but there is a lot of room for learning, growing and personal development.
You will work with our different frontend applications written in React.js, and sometimes do some work in Node.js.

About you:
- You are fluent in JavaScript/Typescript and have 2+ years of experience
- You have experience with and strong interest in React.js
- You have an “eye” for good UI and UX design
- You have experience in Automated testing
- You have a strong drive to learn, and tech is your primary interest and hobby
- In general, you are pretty freakin’ awesome when it comes to software engineering

In the frontend we have multiple React.js applications catering different user groups. Get to work with the latest frameworks in Typescript with an awesome frontend team!

In the backend we have an event driven microservice architecture, primarily written in Ruby (not Rails), but language can differ per micro service, depending on the purpose of that service. We primarily use MongoDB as a datastore, but as with languages, the datastore will be selected to best suit the purpose of the microservice. Our event message queue is the hearth beat of our architecture, so you will get intimate with event handling.

We have a DevOps mentality, and as an engineer you are responsible for the automation of your own code, CI and deployment. You will get to build new micro services and will be part of architecture and service design decisions. Our work pace is fast, and we deploy daily if needed. The work environment is open and friendly, with a strong focus on learning and best engineering practice. We have very flexible working hours and location.
