Scala Developer (remote) (offline)

An exciting start up in the FinTech sector is looking for Back End Developer who is willing to be part of our talented team and build with us platform that will democratize financial services, working with state-of-the-art technology building things that people actually use, using the following tech stack like Scala, GraphQL, React and React Native, Relay, Java 8, Google Cloud Platform, MySQL, MongoDB.

You'll be working closely with the lead developer to ensure delivery of all services written in Java and Scala. You will be making critical decisions around the architecture of the system and individual components as we are in the design phase. You'll also have the opportunity to take project ownership of individual modules.

We follow Scrum principles, do daily standups and run two week sprints.

This is a 100% REMOTE position and you can be working from anywhere in the World. We are looking for senior developer for half time or middle developer for full time.

Skills And Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in large scale project as Back End Developer
Fluency with Scala or Java 8
Experience with GraphQL is a plus
Degree Educated (High Achievers!)

Personal Skills:

Entrepreneurial
Co-founder mentality
English language (fluent in both written and oral)

Will be a plus:

Knowledge of front end technologies (ES 6, React, Relay)
Experience with microservices and scalable distributed systems
Knowledge of GraphQL, Akka, Google Cloud Platform
Experience with document warehousing
