In this full-time, remote, and permanent position, the QA Engineer will have exposure to manual, website testing on eCommerce projects. This is a great opportunity to join a global organisation that values initiative, leadership qualities, and collaboration.

As an Adobe Solutions Gold Partner, we specialise in building Magento Commerce websites and using digital marketing tools like SEO, content, PPC, and social media to market them to the world. Our clients are market leaders in their industries and include household names like PAUL, Clintons Retail, and Rubik’s. With global expansion plans in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, this is an incredibly exciting time to join us.

Our agency has grown from strength to strength and now it’s time to hire a QA Engineer who is able to support the wider technical teams by establishing robust testing processes and implementing best practice guidelines. This opportunity will be a great fit for an experienced QA Engineer who is looking for a company that values autonomy, creativity, and innovation.

As the QA Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

Developing and implementing new tools and processes (and documenting them too). Confluence and Jira will be your single source of truth.
Designing an end-to-end testing process and creating new QA guidelines.
Working closely with the Project Lead, Development Team, and QA teammates to improve efficiency and automate processes that will increase productivity.
Prepare accurate and reliable test estimates by gathering insights and break down testing activities into manageable phases.
Partner with Developers and UI/UX designers in an agile environment helping teams to define test cases and requirements.
Introducing a reporting structure and improving the Requirement Analysis phase of the QA Process.
Lead and mentor QA team members.
Keep up to date with industry trends and ensure that we are ahead of the curve when it comes to best practices.

We are interested in hearing from you if you have:

Demonstrated experience of working on multiple running projects at different stages of the development lifecycle. A background in an agency environment is desirable but candidates from a software company will also be considered.
Must have experience in working with websites, ideally eCommerce.
Experience in testing across the full-stack, from the front end/user interfaces to the back end and databases.
Strong knowledge of different QA methodologies, tools, automation, and processes.
Experience in working in an agile development lifecycle.
Good working knowledge of Jira.
Magento experience (DESIRABLE).
Fundamental understanding of how to manage and coach junior team members.

We are dedicated to giving everyone at Best Response Media a great employee experience where everyone is valued and given equal opportunities.

What we can offer you:
