Data Architect (offline)

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with Relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including document or, graph databases. Experience with Redshift, Snowflake, Vertica, Google Big Query a plus;
- Experience with cloud services like AWS and Azure;
- Experience with object-oriented/object function Scripting languages: Python, Java, Go, C++;
- Experience with big data tools: Spark, Kafka.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- End to end Data architecture design.
- End to end design of Data Warehouse and Big Data solutions
- Data model design including relational, dimensional and No-SQL techniques
- Data Integration technologies and techniques like ETL, ELT, real time data ingestion and API based integration
- Support advanced analytics and AI/Machine Learning capabilities
- Provide technical and thought leadership, strategic thinking and architectural direction on data projects
- Define and communicate commercially aware architecture designs for data solutions in accordance to data design authority governance and standards
- Work closely with the project teams and other stakeholders to meet the project's requirements aligned with architecture standards;
- Identifying operational and delivery risks
- Provide governance on data architecture for the business domains under his/her responsibilities, data standards and target operating models for data activities
- Collaborate with the Data Science & Engineering teams to share best practice for building data pipelines.
- Define and manage policies and programs for data stewardship and custodianship in concert with legal, information security, and corporate risk and compliance offices.
- Define, manage, and control master data and metadata management policies, controls, and standards, including reference data.
- Lead the deployment and management of data quality monitoring systems.
- Measure master data and reference data for compliance to policy, standards and conceptual models.
- Create policies and controls for the appropriate protection of enterprise information assets through a defined life cycle from acquisition or creation to end of life destruction and disposal procedures.
