Senior DevOps Engineer (Infrastructure domain) (offline)

Required skills
β€” 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
β€” Solid experience in scripting with Python, Go or Bash
β€” Experience with at least one modern cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
β€” Deep knowledge of security best practices
β€” Experience with Kubernetes
β€” Experience with provisioning tools used for automated deployment (Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, etc.)
β€” Ability to design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
β€” Experience with build tools used in continuous integration environments (Travis, Wercker Jenkings, Circle CI, etc.)
β€” Experience in writing beautiful, straightforward, and easily maintainable code as part of a collaborative team
β€” Strong communication skills
β€” Level of English: Upper-Intermediate.

Responsibilities
β€” Maintain platform infrastructure as code
β€” Create and maintain infrastructure as code modules and abstractions used by developers
β€” Work with development teams on optimizations and best-practices
β€” Manage and maintain CI/CD Jenkins pipeline
β€” Improve automation, scalability, monitoring and security
β€” Attend dailies, groomings and other ceremonies that is required by the agile methodology of the team

The client is an American β€œDrone Software as a Service” company, driven to automate the entire process of drone-based utility inspections since 2014. They do not make drones, they make them better having created one of the world’s most advanced aerial sensor systems.

Developed with utilities, for utilities, the client offers a holistic and proactive approach to utility inspection automation for asset and vegetation management. Adapting to the challenges, needs and capabilities of each utility, promoting overall safety, quality of data, and efficiency.

We offer highly interesting and challenging tasks. The domain includes capturing, geo-referencing, analyzing and processing gigabytes of 3D point cloud and imaging data near real-time and visualizing results with modern web UI.
