Junior/Middle Python Developer (offline)

Atap Fund is looking for a Backend developer to join our team immediately.

As a backend developer, you will build the APIs and business logic that powers Atap Fund’s tech and web applications. You will work on all aspects of the applications, writing Python / Django code to build models, expose APIs, or integrate with third-party systems.

You will be responsible for the selection of technologies, architectures, and designs for our systems. You will write the software that defines these systems and continue to adapt and support them as our business grows.

The role requires expertise in software development, with advanced knowledge of modern web development practices. You should be familiar with best practices as well as cutting-edge solutions.

Skills & Experience:
- You have good interpersonal skills and can effectively work in a cross-functional team of product managers, developers, and project managers (in the first project you'll communicate directly with the appointed PM).
- You have good communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- 2+ years experience building web applications
- Familiarity with modern web development tools and frameworks including Django, Postgres, and AWS.
- Advanced knowledge of technology product evaluation and selection for web development.
- Solid hands-on experience designing and building scalable solutions that leverage relational databases
- You have experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL
- You have sound knowledge and experience of Django Framework
- You have experience using version control git, unit and integration testing, and CI/CD tools
- Your experience with setting up development environments and API integrations
- You have experience in developing RESTFUL APIs
- We are looking for someone with a commitment to high quality and a proactive problem-solving approach
- You have experience in test integration/application monitoring (nice to have)
- You are open to working with new technologies and frameworks in a fast-paced environment
