IT Engineer/Sysadmin/DevOps (offline)

We are looking for a IT Engineer (Basic Infrastructure) for one of our client in Germany - an IT service provider that has been supporting medium-sized and large companies in the realisation of IT/software projects and IT operating tasks for almost 20 years.

Your tasks

- Support and administration of server infrastructures (virtual environments & software) of our customers
- Release management: planning, testing and rollout of updates for IT infrastructure services and software solutions in coordination with the service manager and customers
- Support in troubleshooting in close cooperation with our support team
- Content support for customer-specific service meetings
- Participation in changing on-call duties

Your profile

- Completed studies in the field of computer science or business informatics or comparable professional training
- Career changers are also welcome
- Relevant professional experience in the operational IT environment with more than 200 PC workstations
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Server
- Good to very good knowledge of networks, e.g. TCP/IP and LAN/WAN
At least basic knowledge of virtualisation (e.g. MS Hyper-V, XenServer, or VMware ESX/vSphere), ideally with corresponding certification
- Independent and structured way of working, service orientation and team spirit
- Upper Intermediate of English
- German - is a big plus
