DevOps / Cloud Engineer $2000-3700 Offline

As our DevOps / Cloud Engineer, you will be able to:

- Help to design, build and maintain infrastructures in AWS which are highly available, fault-tolerant, performant and secure.

- Use your initiative to continuously improve data platforms and code pipelines.

- Work collaboratively within an Agile team of cross-functional engineers.

- Use & evangelize best practices in continuous integration and delivery.

The role is full-time

You are the right candidate if you have:

- Proven commercial experience of building & administering AWS infrastructure in production (EC2, RDS, S3, Beanstalk, CloudFront, Lambda, VPN, Route 53).

- Strong networking knowledge (VPC, DNS, ELB, VPN, gateways).

- Strong cloud security skills (IAM, Security Groups & NACLs, bucket policies, certificate & key management). Familiarity and experience implementing AWS Best Security Practices

- Experience with Infra-as-code tools such as CDK (preferable) or Terraform or CloudFormation. Source control management  such as Git or similar.

- Strong Linux fundamentals and scripting (bash, Python).

- Experience building CI/CD pipelines: CodeBuild (preferable), GitLab CI, etc.

- Knowledge of monitoring & alerting tools such as (NewRelic, Pingdom, Cloudwatch, Grafana & Prometheus or similar )

- Basic knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js

- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer is a great asset

- RHEL certification is a great asset
